How often will I be paid?

Avispa processes payroll weekly and issues payments via direct deposit. To sign up for direct deposit, please email support@avispatechnology.com.

How do I update tax documents and direct deposit forms?

What is the waiting period for medical, vision and dental benefits?

Employees have 30 days from their start date to enroll in Avispa’s Group Medical Plans. Coverage is effective the first day of the month, following 30 days of employment.

How to enroll in Avispa’s Retirement Savings Program?

Employees are auto enrolled in Avispa’s Retirement Saving Program through CalSavers. Employees will have 30 days to opt-out of CalSavers plan or to make changes to retirement accounts.

How do I call out sick or request time off?

Employees must advise Avispa and their client manager at their worksite. To advise Avispa, please email support@avispatechnology.com. Prior notice to Avispa and our clients is required for paid sick leave consideration, and prior approval is required for all time off requests.

What should I do if I suspect that I have been a victim of fraud from someone impersonating a company?

Contact your bank or financial institution immediately if you have provided bank details.
File a report with your local law enforcement agency or report the incident to a dedicated fraud hotline.
Inform Avispa at security@avispatechnology.com about any suspicious emails you have received.
Keep a detailed record of all communications related to the fraud case.

How can I spot fraudulent emails or phishing attempts?

Check the sender's email address carefully for any variations or misspellings of legitimate domains. Our domain will always be avispatechnology.com
Avoid clicking on links or downloading attachments from unknown or suspicious sources.
Look for grammatical errors, generic greetings, or urgent requests for personal information.
Hover over links (without clicking) to see the actual web address they point to – verify its legitimacy.

What should I do if I receive a suspicious email or message from someone impersonating a representative of your company?

Do not provide any personal information or reply to the email.
